They say that besos* heal the soul, but we all know they can cure a lot more besides. At Beso Beach we have been committed from the very start to help those most in need, supporting different projects involved in social and environmental causes. We firmly believe in those who fight to make the world a better place, so every year we sponsor two not-for-profit organisations that have a strong track record.
Our venues in the islands are located in nature reserves and we work on having a positive impact and on preserving the rural and maritime spaces.
POSIDONICA MEADOW
So as to help these organisations and involve our clients, we take the liberty of adding 1 euro to your bill which will be given entirely to the associations sponsored during the season. If you do not want this euro added to your account or, instead, would like to give more, then you just have to tell your waiter.
IBIZA
PRESERVATION.
This year we are collaborating with IbizaPreservation, an organisation promoting the conservation of the value and beauty of nature in these islands, along with their sustainability. By helping to conserve the islands’ landscapes, biodiversity, water and marine spaces they also hope to contribute to the local economy and welfare.
APNEEF
We are also working with APNEEF, a non-profit making organisation whose mission is to promote the rights and improve the lives of children and young people in Ibiza and Formentera with special needs, any kind of physical, mental, sensorial and/or cognitive disability, aiming to improve their quality of life and their integration into society. APNEEF is part of the Coordinadora de Minusválidos/as de las Baleares (Coordinator of the Disabled in the Balearics), which in turn is part of COCEMFE (Confederación Española de Personas con Discapacidad Física y Orgánica/Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities) which is registered in CERMI (Comité Español de Representantes de Minusválidos/as, Spanish Committee of Representatives of the Disabled) and of the Real Patronato sobre Discapacidad (Royal Patronage on Disability) among other NGOs which represent them at an international level in the European Disability Forum, among other organisations.
