Beso Beach started its life in Formentera in 2012 in the idyllic setting of Cavall d’en Borras beach, as a family project run by Rafa Viar and Angie López.
Beso Beach is a philosophy, a kind of feeling that we always try to pass on to our customers. We’re all about beach, sun and good vibes. We’re made up of moments that we want to share with everyone who visits us. In a word, we’re people who live with our feet firmly in the sand, always aware that besos (what we call kisses!) are much more than the beginning. They are the driving force that inspires us to keep going on this amazing journey that has only just begun.
Rafa Viar is a Basque entrepreneur, specialising in managing teams in the restaurant business and tourist sector with over 30 years of experience. Over this time he has managed businesses in his native Bilbao, Barcelona, London, the Balearic Islands and Tulum, to name a few. He is very proud of Basque gastronomy, which is why he takes it with him wherever he goes.
Angie López has been passionate about fashion and food since she was really young. Her interest in the latest trends in fashion, decoration and interior design led her to travel around the world in search of new developments and opportunities, which soon turned her into an entrepreneur, brilliant at developing great brands. At an early age she went all over the world as a trend hunter, which meant she also got to know many different cultures and broaden her gastronomic vision.
Rafa and Angie’s determination and enthusiasm led to them bringing together their great passions of fashion, art, gastronomy and catering in one quite unique concept and so began this great joint venture called Beso Beach. A fashionable beach bar with Basque-Mediterranean cuisine in an idyllic setting.

After the overnight success of Beso Beach Formentera, they went on to Ibiza, Sitges and Tulum. The Beso Beach brand turned into a LoveBrand, winning the hearts and minds of our clients, and turning the brand into a way of life.
Currently we are finding ourselves in a mature place after 10 years of activity, adaptation and success, a crucial period that spotlights our history. Beso Beach is in an ongoing process of expansion and growth, which allows us to go on opening new horizons and bring other surprises out of the hat.
So, in our inimitable adventurous spirit we are offering unique experiences for anyone who shares our yearning to discover and explore every hidden corner of this Mediterranean paradise and get to know the islands of Ibiza and Formentera by land, sea and air, but always opting for sustainable transport

They say besos* can heal the soul, but we all know they can heal much more. At Beso Beach we have been committed from the very start to help those who most need it, supporting different projects that are involved in social and environmental causes. We firmly believe in those who fight for causes that make the world a better place, which is why every year we want to do our bit and sponsor two not-for-profit organisations with a good track record.
MUSIC IS THE ANSWER IN ANY BESO MOMENT
At Beso we love enjoying ourselves which is why we have our very own music, and what’s more our very own set of artistes and resident DJs. The magic all began when we held our Beso Salvaje (Wild Kiss) event, and decided to expand a bit more and spread besos* everywhere, so we took them to New York, Barcelona and Madrid among other places. Beso Sound is the producer with which we handle all Artists Management, organise events and also take them to other locations. We just love travelling! How about you?
